Greenfield Middle School ELA Listed Among the Top Missouri Schools in Growth

PRiME (Policy Research in Missouri Education) Center of St. Louis University recently released their 2021-2022 Statewide Growth, Subgroup Growth, and Beating the Odds Growth reports for middle schools. These reports highlight the top schools across the state that are showing outstanding growth on the MAP tests. These schools are moving the needle on student learning. Greenfield Middle School English Language Arts students were listed in the Top 20 on all three of these reports.

3rd middle school in the state for Beating the Odds Growth in ELA
7th middle school in the state for Schoolwide Growth in ELA
4th middle school in the state for Subgroup Growth* in ELA
*These Subgroup rankings track the Growth Scores for groups of students within each school from historically disadvantaged populations who are Black or Hispanic, qualify for free- and reduced-priced lunch, are English language learners, or are students with disabilities.
In addition, Greenfield Middle School English Language Arts students were specifically noted for the following:
one of only 2 schools on this same Schoolwide list last year
one of only 6 schools listed in the Schoolwide list with over 50% proficiency
one of only 4 schools on the Subgroup list which had a growth score of greater than or equal to 100
one of only 2 schools on this same Subgroup list last year
the only school on the Beating the Odds list with a proficiency rate over 50%
one of only 2 schools on this Beating the Odds list last year
