On Wednesday, October 25th, FCCLA students travelled to Joplin High School for the fall Region 11 Meeting with other Southwest, MO schools. This year's speaker was Ken Freeman, an author from San Antonio, Texas. He talked about one of his books named Choices 101. Freeman explained how your daily choices affect your family, friends, future, and faith. He said throughout the meeting, "People make choices, and choices make people" as well as explaining that your attitude can be either your best friend or your greatest enemy. You always want to start out on the right foot every morning and have a good attitude and always make good choices.
