At Greenfield Junior High, the seventh graders are currently learning about early English settlements in the Americas. They’ve studied Roanoke and are preparing to learn about Jamestown and Plymouth.
Recently the 7th graders took a field trip to Jefferson City to tour the capitol and the Missouri State Penitentiary. Representative Ann Kelley, Mike Kelly, and Johanna Henry were our tour guides at the capitol.
The eighth graders are studying Reconstruction and will be learning about western expansion, the transcontinental railroad, the Oregon Trail, and the Santa Fe Trail.
