Today's softball game in Wheaton has been canceled due to field conditions, it is being rescheduled for this Friday 3/29, I will let everyone know when a start time is set.
The leprechaun visited Mrs. Maddocks's class again after the traps! He left a mess!
The baseball and softball games today have been canceled, we will attempt to make these up. The JH track meet is still on for this afternoon.
Preschool studied seeds and plants the past two weeks. We learned the parts of a plant, what plants need to grow and started an experiment with seeds. We celebrated the first of spring by planting our own seeds.
High school ag students read a book to us and we made stamps with green peppers to celebrate National Ag Day on Tuesday.
It has been many years since Greenfield R-IV School has hosted a track meet. That will change on Monday, March 25th and Wednesday, March 27th. The track and the rest of the grounds look amazing. This did not happen overnight or without a lot of behind the scenes actions from many different individuals.
A huge shoutout to our amazing maintenance crew here at Greenfield for all the hard work and dedication that has gone into making sure our Greenfield students have the opportunity to have a successful home track meet.
Thank you is not enough. If you see one of them make sure to let them know how much they are appreciated.
Always proud to be a W1ldcat!
Today's softball game against Fordland has been moved up to start at 4:30.
Yesterday our horse judging girls went to Crowder College and competed against schools from Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas. Our girls placed 10th overall as a team! Megan also scored 18th overall as an individual! These girls are working hard to do great things!
The the softball game at Hume on 3/28 will start at 5:00 instead of 4:30.
Congratulations to Riley DeJager (1st Place), Addilyn Castlebury (2nd Place), and Mikahlynn Hembree (3rd Place) for winning the 2024 Dade County Men's Civic Club Poster Contest!!!
Mrs. Maddocks's class made leprechaun traps on Friday, March 15th and then we missed catching him this weekend and he destroyed our room again this year!!

I would like to give a special shout out to the Greenfield community as FCCLA students travel to Osage Beach, MO for the State Leadership Conference this weekend!! This trip is possible due to generous donations from the Meents Family Fund, DACO Community Foundation, and all who purchased Snackin' in USA products (to be delivered soon!)
The State Leadership Conference provides members with the opportunity to network, expand leadership skills, explore national programs, compete in STAR Events for the opportunity to advance to the National Leadership Conference – and so much more!
