Reminder, the Greenfield R-IV School District will be in session on Monday, November 25th and Tuesday, November 26th, next week.
School will not be in session Wednesday, November 27th to Friday, November 29th for Thanksgiving Break.
South route will be running about 25 minutes behind this morning. Students will not be counted tardy or absent and will still have the opportunity to eat breakfast before going to class this morning. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
Our Christmas program is set for Friday, December 6, 2024. We are changing a few things this year:
1. The program will be in the elementary Brown (New) Gym
2. The program will be in three sections.
All students in PreK, kindergarten, first, second, and third grade need to arrive to their homeroom classrooms by 5:15. Fourth, fifth, and sixth graders need to arrive to their homeroom classrooms between 5:15 and 5:45.
PreK and kindergarten will perform at 5:30 promptly. Students will return to their classroom after they perform. PreK and kindergarten parents that wish to leave may pick up their child and leave. If parents wish to stay to watch other programs, they can pick up their child in the classroom after the program.
1st grade through 3rd grade will perform at 5:45. After their performance, parents can pick them up in their classrooms. If parents wish to stay and watch the next program, they can pick up their child in the classroom after the program.
4th grade through 6th grade will perform at 6:15. Following their program, parents can pick them up in their homeroom classrooms.
We are very excited to see everyone on Friday, December 6 in the Greenfield Elementary Gym.

It is time to collect for Santa's Workshop. If you have new or gently used items that might be appropriate for students to shop for gifts for their parents, please drop them off at the elementary school office.

Greenfield will now be the host site for the boys AND girls jamborees on 11/18. SInce Miller was originally going to host, and they did the leg work on putting the schedule together, we will keep their game times the same as they originally published.

The FCCLA Volleyball fundraiser originally scheduled for this weekend will be moved to December 14th. There will be more information to follow.
It's that time of year again! We are partnering with Care to Learn Greenfield to bring you the Helping Hands Christmas Tree. Forms are going home with Elementary kids today. JH & HS can participate as well. Print form and return to the school or have your student stop by the office to get one. Please fill out and return to school by Friday, November 15th. Thank you! The Dade County Health Department will be onsite, providing FREE Influenza vaccinations on Friday, November 15th for all Greenfield R-IV students grades PK-12. Elementary students will be sent home with a consent form today. Any JH/HS student who would like a flu shot needs to pick up a form from the front office or print attached form, sign and return to the office by Tuesday, November 12th. Students will NOT get a flu shot without consent.
