Nicole Veach and Elle Loonsfoot have qualified for the FCCLA National STAR Event Competition. They completed their chapter service project, Penny Wars, in December raising money for the Dade County Food Pantry. The girls presented their project at regional STAR Events, received a gold medal, and qualified for state. The state competition was not able to be held, therefore, national qualifiers were selected based upon regional scores. Veach and Loonsfoot will be participating in the virtual National Competition in July. Congratulations, ladies!

Governor Parsons has announced that Missouri schools will remain closed through the end of the 2019-2020 academic year calendar.
Attention A+ Seniors:
The Missouri Department of Higher Education has modified the A+Program requirements for 2020 graduates only. The modifications include:
1) The math requirement has been eliminated since we are not giving EOC’s and ACT testing has been suspended.
2) A cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) is required. There is no need to use the sliding scale since the math requirement has been eliminated.
3) Seniors must have completed at least 25 hours (instead of 50 hours) of supervised tutoring.
The cumulative average daily attendance requirement of 95% remains the same. As it is every year, A+ eligibility will be determined once transcripts are finalized. As such, I am unable to definitively tell you if you are eligible at this time. Please continue to stay well.
Kelly Kramer
A+Program Coordinator
Beginning this week, student meals will be available to pick up at the Elementary School Monday - Thursday, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Meals will not be handed out on Fridays. Instead students picking up a meal on Thursday will receive meals for both Thursday and Friday.

The ongoing impact of COVID-19 in our region requires school districts to be flexible and make decisions that are in the best interest of public health. In consultation with the Dade County Health Department, and Dade County School Superintendents, we have made a joint decision to extend the “Wellness Break” of our respective Districts through April 24, 2020.
Greenfield R-IV understands that this is an uncertain time for our students, families, and communities, but we remain focused on protecting the safety and well-being of students, staff, and families.
Doors to both school buildings will be open this week for parents/students to stop by and pick up classwork packets for all students. Stop by the front entrance of our buildings Tuesday, March 24th to Friday, March 27th from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm to get your enrichment packets.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for students beginning Thursday, March 19, 2020. Times for pick up will be from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm daily at the circle drive behind the Elementary School Building (near the playground). Meals will be similar to sacked lunches served during summer school or on past field trips. Each student will receive lunch for the day and breakfast for the following day. All meals will be picked up and consumed at home. District cafeterias will not be open. The elementary school will be the location of meal pick up for all grades PK-12.
The Greenfield R-IV School District will be closing beginning Tuesday, March 17th to Friday April 3rd for a wellness break. In consultation with health department officials, this is in the best interest for student and community health. All co- and extra-curricular events and sports practices are also suspended, effective immediately. Updates will be made available as the situation changes.
Reminder: School will be out during the week of March 9th - March 13 for Spring Break. School will not be in session, Monday, March 16th, as that day is no longer being used as a snow make-up day. Students will return to school Tuesday, March 17th.
